Senior Legal Counsel

Function You will support and assist the teams within Parkwind in the development and construction of an offshore wind farm, from start to finish, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements, company policies, industry practice. More specifically, you will support the project, under the direction of the lead counsel contracting & procurement, which shall include the following tasks and responsibilities: Tender management Contract negotiations Drafting a variety of contracts for the development and construction of an offshore wind farm (e.g. supply contracts, contract for offshore services, transport & installation contracts, etc.) Contract management Document management Project-related communication Risk management and risk mitigation Claim management and avoidance Dispute resolution Stakeholder management Knowledge management Profile Do you have a Master’s in Law with a passion for contract law and preferably 7–10 years’ experience? Such experience in the energy sector is an advantage. Other requirements: You are solution-oriented and pro-active. You can manage several things at the same time without losing oversight. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. You possess a high level of integrity. You have an analytical mindset and pay attention to details. You are flexible and willing to travel on an occasional basis. You are fluent in English. Fluency in Dutch and/or French is a plus.
