Who we arewe are is an experienced and dynamic software engineering company based in Ghent. We craft custom software solutions for SMEs and startups across various industries. Our work spans from developing Word add-ins that leverage NLP and RAG for contract writing to designing software that enhances festival experiences by reading data from hardware devices in real-time.

To support our growth and help our clients succeed, we are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our team.
What you can expect on a typical day:As a Software Engineer at we are, you'll be involved in projects from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include:
- Full ownership of projects, from concept to delivery, ensuring they meet the client's goals and are completed on time.
- Evaluating technical solutions, analyzing risks and trade-offs, and helping clients make informed decisions.
- Communicating effectively—both internally with the team and externally with clients—to keep everyone aligned.
- Implementing high-quality solutions using agile methodologies, with just the right mix of coding and creativity.
- Ensuring long-term success by maintaining and optimizing delivered software to keep it running at peak performance.

- At least 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills—you can break down complex problems and explain solutions to technical and non-technical people.
- Hands-on experience with web and/or mobile development, including APIs, backends, frontends, OAuth, and JWT.
- Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.
- A passion for writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- The ability to work with multiple programming languages.
- Awareness of privacy- and security- by design.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps principles.
- Ability to adapt quickly and learn new technologies when needed.
- Comfort working with external APIs and reading through documentation.
- A pragmatic mindset—you focus on what works best, not on unnecessary complexity.
