Your Role

With your expertise in Internet networking and Capacity products in general, you will be at the forefront of driving and stimulating the success of our cutting-edge IP products (IP transit, Peering, Cloud Connect, etc.). You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our solutions, as articulated by BICS Marketing and Product Management across various regions. Your mission will be to provide unparalleled expertise and guidance to our sales community, customers, and suppliers, offering comprehensive pre and post-sales support to all stakeholders.

You will collaborate closely with regional sales teams and Marketing to craft and execute the most effective go-to-market strategies, aimed at increasing BICS' market share in the Capacity business. Additionally, your knowledge in cloud networking will be invaluable in helping BICS become more cloud-aware, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of industry innovation. Mastering this cloud networking should be valuable in helping the sales community understand the real customer needs in a cloud connect scenario and create the best customer experience.

  • Provide technical and commercial expertise on IP product portfolio such as IP transit, (remote) Peering, cloud connect to the customers, Capacity sales Team and BICS sales community if needed.
  • Support Capacity Sales team to present BICS' IP product portfolio such as IP transit, (remote) Peering, cloud connect to customers, define the right commercial models (in collaboration with Product Management), and ensure fast provisioning process from contract to invoice.
  • Analyze customer needs to translate them into BICS solutions in order to shorten the sales cycle.
  • In collaboration with Capacity Product management and Capacity Business management, build business cases in order to help the Capacity business expanding its reach and presence across the globe.
  • Act as the interface between the Capacity sales community and product management to ensure knowledge transfer to the sales community as needed.
  • Act as the interface and point of contact between Capacity sales community and Operations for any quality related issues and ensure best customer experience.
  • Guide the Capacity sales organization and work to prioritize activities, including supplier and customer acquisition prioritization, and create a complete whitespace of the opportunities in the region both on the supply and customer side; set up the best regional go-to-market strategy in close collaboration with Marketing and Product management, in order to increase BICS' market share in this area.
Your Profile
  • Minimum experience: 5 years of experience in IP world.
  • Language skills: Fluent English is required. Other languages are an asset depending on the region.

Required technical competencies:

  • Expertise in The IP transit world and financial models applied in the industry.
  • Market and regulatory knowledge in the respective region.
  • Business acumen to build business cases to help customer acquisition.
  • Strong technical and commercial aptitude to articulate the solutions to customers & suppliers.
