Freelance PL/SQL Developer with oracle experience - Long Term - Hybrid We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database / PL/SQL Developer with strong development expertise to design, develop, and maintain database solutions that support business-critical applications. The role focuses on SQL and PL/SQL development, Oracle database optimisation, and data modelling to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability of enterprise systems. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain SQL and PL/SQL code, including procedures, functions, packages, and triggers. Develop and optimise Oracle Database objects to support application and reporting needs. Perform data modelling activities to ensure accurate, efficient, and scalable database structures. Analyse performance issues and implement tuning strategies for queries and database objects. Collaborate with application developers, analysts, and architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with database standards. Maintain technical documentation and support ongoing maintenance and enhancements. Participate in troubleshooting and resolution of production database issues. Experience Strong development background with hands-on experience in SQL and PL/SQL. Proven experience working with Oracle Databases. Solid understanding of data modelling concepts, including relational and logical models. Experience writing efficient, maintainable, and well-documented database code.
