Job Advert: Product Owner – 6‐Month Contract (Ghent, Belgium)Location: Ghent, Belgium (with travel across Belgium)Contract Duration: 6 monthsLanguages: Dutch required; French strongly preferredAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Product Owner to support and oversee multiple ongoing projects across Belgium. This is a contract role for someone who thrives in a fast‐moving environment, can balance competing priorities, and excels at driving clarity across teams.The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, to a high standard, and aligned with overall business goals. A key part of the role is evaluating the success of various initiatives and contributing to strategic decisions about which projects should progress further.Key ResponsibilitiesWork closely with cross‐functional teams to guide project delivery from start to finish.Ensure that project timelines, milestones and quality expectations are consistently met.Analyse project performance, outcomes, and overall impact to support data‐driven decisions.Provide clear recommendations on whether projects should advance, pivot or conclude.Facilitate communication between stakeholders, ensuring alignment on priorities and expectations.Lead requirement‐gathering sessions, reviews, and progress updates.Maintain clarity and structure in an environment with multiple moving parts.RequirementsStrong experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role.Fluency in Dutch; professional competency in French is highly beneficial.Proven ability to manage several initiatives simultaneously across different teams.Excellent communication and stakeholder‐management skills, with the ability to adapt style depending on audience.Strong analytical mindset and ability to assess project value, risks, and outcomes.Willingness to travel within Belgium as required.Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration across teams.What This Role OffersThe opportunity to influence several impactful projects across Belgium.A varied workload with exposure to multiple teams and business areas.A role where strategic insight and delivery excellence both play an important part.
