Beschrijving van de functie Ben jij een financiële rots in de branding, met oog voor detail én strategie? Heb je ervaring met rapportering volgens IFRS en hou je ervan om een team aan te sturen binnen een internationale context? Dan hebben wij een topuitdaging voor jou als Head of Accounting bij een toonaangevende speler in de wereld van commerciële voertuigen Als Head of Accounting ben jij de verantwoordelijke voor de financiële rapportering. Je leidt het accountingteam, bewaakt deadlines en zorgt voor een correcte verwerking en rapportering van alle cijfers - lokaal en richting het Europese hoofdkantoor. Je bent een sleutelfiguur in de samenwerking met interne diensten zoals controlling en het Shared Service Center. Leidt het accountingteam (planning, coaching, evaluaties) en bepaalt mee de richting op korte en middellange termijn. Verantwoordelijk voor de maand- en jaarafsluitingen volgens IFRS. Verantwoordelijk voor alle GAAP-aanpassingen, intercompany-reconciliaties en disclosures. Beheert de relaties met interne partners (controlling, SSC) en externe stakeholders (auditors, belastingadviseurs). Zorgt voor tijdige en correcte fiscale aangiften en volgt kredietrisico’s actief op. Werkt nauw samen met controlling voor het opstellen van financiële planningen. Brengt verbeteringsvoorstellen aan om processen en systemen efficiënter te maken. Jouw profiel Bachelor of master in boekhouding, economie of gelijkaardig. Minstens 5 jaar ervaring in een gelijkaardige functie, idealiter binnen een internationale omgeving. Kennis van IFRS en SAP is een must. Gestructureerd, pragmatisch en heeft een proactieve mindset. Spreekt vlot Nederlands, Frans én Engels. Teamleider met uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden.
