Plant Production Manager (Manufacturing)Job Title: We are seeking an Operations Site Manager to lead and develop a mid-sized manufacturing site.Scope: This role is ideal for a Senior Production Manager who wants to grow into full Plant and Operations leadership within a European business unit of a global organization.You will have real ownership, visibility and the opportunity to shape a site and accelerate your career toward broader Operations or European leadership roles.Role OverviewLocation: Onsite – Ghent, BelgiumContract: Full time, permanentReports to: Operations Director EuropeSalary: €78,000 – €98,000 base + company car + local corporate benefitsNo relocation package. Candidates must already be based in Ghent/ East Flanders or able to relocate immediately.Role SummaryWe are looking for an Operations Site Manager to lead and stabilize a mid- sized complex finished product site based in East Flanders Region. Overseeing 4 key areas: Maintenance, Customer Service, Administration, and Production & Warehouse (team of approx. 15 people).The role is hands-on and requires someone able to structure operations, drive performance, and ensure daily excellence in safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.We seek a leadership-driven, process-oriented manager who knows how to build discipline on the shop floor and develop and bring together teams. High autonomy, ownership, and the ability to bring structure where needed are essential.This role is ideal for someone who wants to shape operations, elevate the site, and grow within a global organization.Responsibilities:-Full responsibility for site performance and operational KPIs.-Act with high autonomy and strong ownership of the plant.-Coach and support leadership capability-Ensure daily performance: safety, quality, deliver, productivity, cost.-Drive continuous improvement and optimize production performance.-Implement standards, KPIs, and clear processes .-Contribute to the harmonization of tools and processes across the European division-Work closely with the sister plant site (Europe located) to share best practices and create alignment.Requirements: (Must-have)-Experience in a manufacturing environment with production flow (machines, sensors, process control).-Engineering background.-High potential and growth ambition-Leadership experience in Operations / Production-Strong coaching and people development skills.-Fluent Dutch + English.-Fully onsite-Limited travelNice to have-Experience in liquids, fluids, chemical, beverages, or food.-SME mindsetB-People is a B-Corporation and an equal opportunity employer, welcoming applications from candidates of all backgrounds and experiences.
