The Principal will work closely with the General Director and the Senior Leadership team to foster a dynamic learning environment (IEYC, IP & IB Curricula), drive the school development, and maintain operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess the leadership skills to manage all educational aspects of the school, ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning. Key Responsibilities Uphold and promote the school’s vision and mission, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders by fostering a culture of continuous professional growth. Oversee the entire educational team. Develop and implement the School Development Plan, driving strategic initiatives with the Senior Leadership team, composed of the Heads of section and Head of IB Curricula. Oversee teaching, learning, and curriculum development, ensuring innovative and research-based educational practices. Ensure high safeguarding and health & safety standards across the school environment. Oversee teacher recruitment, appraisals, and professional development, ensuring an engaged and high-performing staff. Collaborate with the Finance Director to manage school resources and budgetary needs (e.g. staff planning, orders). Engage actively with the school community, parents, and the PTA, fostering strong partnerships. Support accreditation processes, ensuring compliance with international educational standards. Ideal Profile The successful candidate will be a dynamic and inspirational leader with a proven track record in international education leadership. The ideal Principal will demonstrate: Educational Leadership Experience – Extensive experience in a leadership role within an international school setting. Strategic Vision – Ability to develop and execute long-term educational strategies aligned with the school’s mission. People Management – Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire educators while fostering a collaborative and supportive environment while looking after the well-being of the team. Safeguarding & Wellbeing Commitment – A deep understanding of safeguarding policies and student welfare best practices. Financial & Resource Management – Experience in resource allocation to support academic and operational excellence. Community Engagement – Strong interpersonal skills to engage with parents, staff, and the wider community effectively. Resilience & Adaptability – Ability to remain positive, reflective, and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications & Experience Experience in education, Educational Leadership, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience in an international school. Good understanding of international curricula. Strong understanding of accreditation processes in international education is a plus. High command in English; additional European language is an asset.
