**Your function**

As an EGI Senior Principal, you will play a vital role in driving the growth of the company. Your responsibilities will include proactively identifying and cultivating new revenue streams among existing and potential customers, and positioning EGI as a leader in the Power Transmission industry.

Reporting directly to the C-Level, you will join the management team and collaborate with Transmission System Operators (TSOs) and other industry organizations across the globe. Your main focus will be on addressing critical energy transmission issues and providing robust approaches towards achieving a net-zero future. You will engage closely with clients to understand their unique challenges and tailor solutions that align with EGI’s strategic objectives.

Additionally, you will participate in the development of strategic partnerships and oversee procurement and tendering activities. As Senior Principal, you will coach our Solution Owners, guide them in developing new solutions, and lead Project Managers and Expert Consultants during project delivery.

**Your Profile**
- Ability to work at C-level within TSOs, Developers and Regulators to:

- **Engage, shape, and influence** **early-stage discussions regarding conceptual grid infrastructure developments
- **Develop business relationships and proposals** **that result in Elia Grid International becoming “appointed advisors”.
- **Support solution development** **that covers market regulation & policy, project definition, economic feasibility, financing requirements, tender management, project development, key stakeholder management
- **Lead projects and complex programmes**
- More than 10 years of experience in Power Transmission & Distribution activities in one or several following relevant fields:

- **asset management**: design of T&D Infrastructure, maintenance practice optimization, Asset optimization, Cost optimization, Reliability practices, Risk-Based decision-making techniques & tools;
- **power systems**: steady-state and dynamic modelling and analysis, real-time operations, forecasting, system balancing, management of operating reserves, outage planning and long term-term investment planning;
- Strong experience with project management approaches & tools in a consulting environment; certification in project management is a plus
- Proven record of high performance and substantial professional achievements in your past positions
- Professional organizational skills including attention to quality and multi-tasking skills
- Initiative-taker who is eager to break new ground, create opportunities for others
- Skills to effectively communicate complex ideas
- Demonstrated leadership ability in a team environment
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken) and ability to establish credibility with senior stakeholders.
- Knowledge of one relevant language in the region is a plus.

**Location**

Brussels (Open to relocating or frequently working in Brussels where the senior management team is located) - Mobility required: 30%-50% worldwide (willingness to travel abroad (Europe, Middle East, South East Asia) and work closely with clients for international assignments depending on the business development or project needs).
