Job Title: Senior Technical AnalystDuration : 13 monthsLocation : BelgiumLanguage : EN+FR/NLWork mode :HybridJob DescriptionThe Senior Technical Analyst is responsible for:To understand and discuss the business analysis (Business Analysis) and with the help of the architect, the lead developer and the service manager to coordinate the acceptance process.He/she transposes business analyses into functional and (especially) technical analyses, intended for the development and testing teams. To do this, it pays particular attention to the principles of digitization of the SPF, user comfort, coordination with testers and developers, and achievable steps. He defends his analysis before the agile ceremony of refinement.He/she must ensure that the client has a realistic vision of the deliverables, that the developer has a complete understanding of the needs to be achieved and the technical modalities of their implementation, and that the tester clearly identifies the elements to be validated, based on business and technical acceptance criteria. He/she produces a number of "sprintable" tickets/cards, i.e. acceptable for developers and deliverable in a sprint (of three weeks).In the event of a production or User Acceptance Test issue, the analyst participates in defining the issue and fixes.The analyst will participate in a strategic project to rewrite a monolithic application (and integrate modules developed outside ICT) into a theorized micro-service structure. This application is comparable to a banking application (payment management, accounts and refunds) but also to accounting management. The analyst will integrate one of the priority groups which are: accounting management - transaction and order management - rule management - or interface management.Skills:Have at least a basic understanding of testing methodologies.Proactive and positive attitude towards quality.Have a good knowledge of Business Process Modeling, UML & BPMN methods, and functional and technical analysis.Have a strong background in designing Sequence Diagrams to specify the interactions between components in synchronous/asynchronous architectures.Communicate/impart knowledge, including to junior analysts.Working knowledge of tools: Jira, Confluence, Git, Postman, SoapUI, SQL client, Browser Developer tools, Modeling and design (UML, Seq, DataModel)Build and maintain technical documentation to guide the development team (developers and testers).Demonstrate strong expertise in opportunity analysis and strategic vision. Have the essential ability to challenge, propose alternative solutions and apply constant pragmatism in the overall interest of the project, ensuring the optimization of the project.Have databases to be able to query information to understand valid or erroneous processing.Be able to design Data Models: Define, maintain and guarantee the consistency of the data model (mastery of SQL queries).Be able to clearly describe desired and existing processes.Be able to estimate the development time/cost as a group.Be able to take on the role of project manager.Proven experience in projects conducted using Agile/Scrum methodologies.Have expertise in drafting interface contracts (sync & asynch).You are a team player and a leader and are able to coach and challenge analysts in the pillar.
