The DevOps Coach will help lay the foundations for a strong DevOps mindset and capabilities. He or she will coach squads on DevOps practices and facilitate collaboration with other squads in the Risk & Credits tribe. Together with Chapter Leads, the DevOps Coach will harmonize ways of working and best practices across the Credits cluster and potentially beyond.Your ResponsibilitiesCluster Delivery & CoachingCoach squads in adopting capabilities for developing, testing (automated), deploying, and releasing applicationsImprove squad deliverables by analyzing current practices and building improvement plansProvide guidance in areas such as:Software craftsmanshipTrunk-based developmentBDD/TDDTest AutomationCI/CDValue Stream MappingCloud, Kubernetes & ContainerizationCode maintainabilityFacilitation & Continuous ImprovementCollaborate with other DevOps coaches to improve ways of workingStay up-to-date with industry standards and propose process evolutionsFacilitate retrospectives, planning, and other ceremonies to drive continuous improvementStakeholder Management & CommunicationAct as a key point of contact between squads and other stakeholdersHelp resolve dependencies and promote effective collaboration across squads and tribesYour ProfileExperience & KnowledgeMinimum 6 years of relevant technical experience in DevOps or software development environmentsStrong experience with CI/CD platforms, continuous build, integration, and deployment systemsProficiency in Java development, GitLab, Nexus, code scanning tools (Sonar/Fortify/Nexus), Docker, KubernetesProven coaching experience and good understanding of the SDLCExperience working in Agile teams, familiarity with Agile frameworks, and methods such as Impact Mapping, Story Mapping, Example MappingEducation & CertificationMaster's degree or equivalent by experienceCertification as DevOps Coach and in scaled Agile methodologies is a plusLanguagesExcellent English, with knowledge of French and/or Dutch as a plusSoft SkillsTeam player, proactive, and quick learnerStrong communication, influencing, analytical, and synthesis skillsAutonomous, committed, and resilientAbility to work in a dynamic, multicultural environmentFlexible, accurate, and control-mindedMentor/teacher mindset; curious and optimisticWhy Join UsJoin Nexeo Belgium and contribute to building high-value DevOps capabilities in a banking environment.
