Ashland heeft een uitdagende opportuniteit als Operations Engineer om zich bij onze Ashland Specialties Belgium activiteiten aan te sluiten op onze locatie in Doel-Beveren. Het gaat om een zeer zichtbare, belangrijke rol binnen het bedrijf en de Afdeling Operations. Deze functie rapporteert aan de Operations Manager.
In deze uitdagende functie mag je rekenen op een afwisselend takenpakket:
- Je staat in voor de ondersteuning van de productie, waarbij je dagdagelijkse problemen oplost om tijd- en kwaliteitsverliezen te minimaliseren.
- Door productiedata te analyseren, spoor je oorzaken van productie gerelateerde klachten en afwijkingen in procesparameters op en stel je verbetering- en/of correctieve maatregelen op.
- Je bent een spilfiguur tussen de verschillende afdelingen en weet na je analyse juiste mensen in te schakelen.
- Je bent nauw betrokken bij:
- De voorbereiding van shutdowns en startups.
- De implementatie van engineering projecten.
- Je hebt op dagelijkse basis contact met operators, weet er leeft op vlak van technische problemen en geeft hen de nodige trainingen.
- Je organiseert en neemt deel aan Root Cause Analyses omtrent veiligheid, milieu en kwaliteit.
- Je bereidt interne en externe audits en inspecties voor en volgt deze op.
- Je bent lid van het operational support team, je werkt nauw samen met de Afdelingen Onderhoud en Process engineering en rapporteert aan de Operations Manager.
Vereisten:
- Je behaalde een master chemie (industrieel, burgerlijk of bio-ingenieur) of bent gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
- Een eerste ervaring in een vergelijkbare positie (process, project of production engineering) is een pluspunt, maar geen noodzaak.
- Je hebt een hands-on mentaliteit.
- Je houdt van afwisseling en bent stressbestendig.
- Je bent in staat vlot te communiceren op verschillende niveau's.
- Je bent vlot Nederlandstalig en kan je daarnaast goed behelpen in het Engels.
