Do you have 5+ years of experience as a Jira Administrator? We are looking for an EU national to join our team in Machelen (nearby Zaventem/Brussels). (Hybrid)
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Jira Administrator
- Proven experience as a JIRA System Administrator, with hands-on experience in managing JIRA instances, configurations, and administration.
- Familiarity with other Atlassian products, such as Confluence.
- Admin experience with JIRA Service Management, Tempo timesheets/Reports/Budgets.
- Expertise in JQL (Jira Query Language) to create complex queries and
- reports.
- Experience with system integrations and API connections between JIRA and third-party applications.
- Familiarity with JIRA Automation and ScriptRunner to automate processes.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to manage complex system issues.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide support to technical and non-technical users.
- Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Additionally, NATO Clearance is required due to the environment they will be working in. This clearance can be done afterwards.

Job Description:
- JIRA Administration: Manage and maintain JIRA instances. User Access & Permissions: Manage user permissions, roles, and security schemes to ensure appropriate access levels across different teams and projects.
- Workflows & Schemes: Design and implement custom workflows, schemes,and issue types to match business requirements and optimize project management processes.
- Integration: Configure and manage integrations with other Atlassian tools (e.g. Confluence, Bitbucket) and third-party applications such as Slack, GitHub, and Jenkins.
- Reporting & Dashboards: Set up and maintain JIRA dashboards, reports, and filters to provide actionable insights and metrics for stakeholders and teams.
- Customization & Automation: Customize JIRA instances using JQL (Jira Query Language), create automation rules, and implement scripts to streamline processes and reduce manual tasks.
- Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor system performance,
- conduct regular backups, and ensure the JIRA instance runs smoothly, even under high load.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Provide ongoing support for JIRA-related issues, resolving incidents and handling escalations from users. Collaborate with technical support teams for root cause analysis.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, development teams, and business analysts to ensure JIRA is configured to meet the needs of various projects and departments.
