As a Data Warehouse and Reporting Developer, these are the main tasks that you'll be responsible for: Designing, developing and maintaining interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that support data‑driven decision‑making, following data visualization and user‑experience best practices. Building, managing and optimizing scalable data pipelines and queries to extract, transform and load data from Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Synapse Analytics and relational databases into reusable analytics and reporting models. Collaborating with data engineers, data analysts and business stakeholders to define data requirements, model business logic and ensure high‑quality, validated and trusted data in reporting solutions. Optimizing, troubleshooting and monitoring Power BI datasets, reports and data refresh processes, including performance tuning, integrity checks and access issue resolution. Implementing and managing security and access control mechanisms for BI and data platforms, including Row‑Level Security, workspace permissions and compliance with data governance policies for sensitive but non‑classified data. Designing and implementing data quality management and health monitoring processes, including the definition of quality rules, metrics and continuous monitoring mechanisms. Establishing and maintaining end‑to‑end data governance frameworks, including data quality, data lineage, data observability, metadata management and data cataloguing. Implementing data lineage and observability solutions to ensure transparency, traceability, real‑time monitoring, anomaly detection and operational resilience of data pipelines. Designing and enforcing data authorization and access control models, including role‑based or attribute‑based access policies and access auditing. Ensuring compliance with GDPR and other data protection regulations, including personal data handling policies, anonymisation approaches and consent‑related processes. Collaborating with IT security teams to define and implement data security policies, encryption standards, secure data storage and data logging mechanisms to support auditing and compliance. Defining, documenting and promoting best practices for data management, data governance and analytics within the organisation, including contributing to a data‑driven culture through knowledge sharing and trainings. Documenting end‑to‑end technical solutions, including data architecture, data flows, governance controls and security configurations, ensuring maintainability, transparency and traceability. Supporting the deployment, configuration and operationalisation of data, reporting and governance solutions across environments. Contributing to AI governance activities, including addressing AI ethics, fairness principles and ensuring compliance with the AI Act and related regulatory requirements. Actively participating in Data and AI risk management activities, identifying, mitigating and monitoring data‑related and AI‑related risks. Participating in meetings and coordination activities with other project teams in a multilingual and multicultural environment. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of data warehouse design, architecture and data modelling principles. Strong SQL skills, including PostgreSQL, with familiarity with NoSQL databases and performance optimisation. Experience with ETL tools and data integration processes. Very good knowledge of Power BI, including DAX, Power Query (M), data modelling and visualization best practices. Experience integrating Power BI with enterprise data platforms such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage and relational databases. Knowledge of data modelling tools and techniques, including star schema, normalization and semantic layer design. Ability to troubleshoot, optimise and maintain reporting and BI solutions, including performance tuning and data refresh management. Experience in data governance, data management and related disciplines, including data quality, data lineage, metadata management and monitoring techniques. Knowledge of data governance, data quality, data lineage and metadata management tools and solutions. Experience implementing data security and governance in reporting solutions, including Row‑Level Security, access management and workspace governance. Familiarity with data security standards and technologies, including GDPR, data protection regulations and AI‑related regulations such as the AI Act. Knowledge of OLAP and data mining concepts and tools. Familiarity with version control best practices and technical documentation, including design specifications, data lineage and security configurations. Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate. Excellent knowledge of English - Level C1 in Understanding, Speaking and Writing. Good knowledge of French - Level B2 in Understanding, Speaking and Writing is an asset. Autonomous. Strong organisational and time‑management skills. Good problem‑solving skills.
