As a Senior Manager within EY Consulting Belgium’s Technology Consulting practice, you will join our multi-disciplinary EU Account Team to lead engagements focused on digital risk, resilience and sovereignty. This role combines strategic advisory, technology expertise, and leadership to help EU Institutions, Bodies, and Agencies (EUIBAs) achieve their digital ambitions. You will act as a trusted advisor, shaping strategies aligned with EU policy frameworks and driving transformation across critical domains. This is a full-time position based at EY’s headquarters in Diegem (Brussels area) , in our modern and collaborative workplace, The Wings . Your Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Define and execute digital and technology strategies aligned with EU policy programs and frameworks (e.g., Interoperable Europe Act , Digital Decade 2030 ). Drive governance frameworks and transformation projects across multiple policy areas, ensuring compliance with EU regulations and industry standards. Provide advisory technology services to EUIBA clients, bridging business and technology priorities. Client Engagement Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across EU institutions. Represent EY at EU-level events, working groups, and policy forums to anticipate emerging trends. Act as a trusted advisor on topics such as digital health , digital government , cross-border interoperability , and digital resilience . Delivery & Team Excellence Lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex projects and services for EUIBA clients. Oversee project execution, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. Collaborate across EY’s global network and with external partners to ensure project success. Coach and mentor junior colleagues during project delivery and proposal preparation. Sales & Business Development Drive business development efforts, including full sales cycle management from opportunity identification to engagement closure. Act as Proposal Team Leader , coordinating technical and financial proposals for EU tenders. Develop go-to-market strategies and service offerings in digital resilience and interoperability. Innovation & Capability Building Introducing emerging technologies and best practices to enhance client operations. Develop EY’s capabilities in areas such as cybersecurity , cloud adoption , AI , data governance , and enterprise architecture . Your Profile You have: Master’s degree in business, Technology, or related fields (e.g., Business Economics, Innovation Management, Computer Science, Engineering). Minimum 8+ years in client-facing technology/business consulting, project management, or public sector engagements. Proven experience working with EU Institutions on digital transformation initiatives. Strong understanding of EU policy frameworks and legislative acts relevant to digital resilience and sovereignty (e.g., Interoperable Europe Act , NIS2 , DORA , GDPR , AI Act , Data Act , Digital Services Act ).
