Wat is jouw impact als Legal Advisor bij NN?
Binnen je juridische functie zal je:
- de wetgeving algemeen en binnen de sector van verzekeringen opvolgen (voor zover relevant voor het NN en voor zover van toepassing op de gekozen governance);
- de Belgische en Europese reglementering opvolgen om erover te waken dat de gecommercialiseerde producten in België juridisch compliant zijn;
- de precontractuele en contractuele informatie met betrekking tot de verzekeringscontracten bewaken en finaal goedkeuren op juridisch vlak;
- de contractuele relaties van de organisatie met zijn klanten en partners opzetten en opvolgen;
- helpen bij bepaalde juridische vraagstellingen die door NN en haar partners kunnen geuit worden in het kader van de lancering van nieuwe producten, in het bijzonder met betrekking tot IDD wetgeving, GDPR, IDD en andere verordeningen;
- de juridische risico's van de dagelijkse business identificeren en maximaal vermijden;
- transversale juridische projecten, eigen aan de verzekeringsbranche of de financiële dienstverlening, beheren en implementeren;
- ad hoc juridisch advies verlenen in schade- of productiedossiers;
- mee richting geven aan belangrijke schadedossiers die het voorwerp uitmaken van een gerechtelijke procedure;
- de Belgische tak van NN mee vertegenwoordigen in bepaalde werkgroepen binnen NN Group, en in het bijzonder de juridische en productafstemmingen met de Nederlandse tak van de verzekeraar.
In alle gevallen zal je:
- samen met je collega juristen preferente business partner zijn met betrekking tot alle zaken die gelinkt zijn aan het juridische materies;
- de organisatie sensibiliseren voor juridische risico's;
- de middelen en resources definiëren die nodig zijn om de prioriteiten binnen Legal & Compliance te managen;
- over Legal rapporteren aan het Management Team Non-Life en de officiële controle instanties.
PROFIEL
Naar wie zijn we op zoek?
- Een master in een relevante richting of gelijkwaardig denkniveau met een relevante ervaring van minimum 3 jaar binnen de sector.
- Kennis van verzekeringstechnische wetgeving binnen een Non-Life omgeving, inclusief een goede kennis van contractuele en niet-contractuele aansprakelijkheid en het verbintenissenrecht en kennis van de MIFID- IDD wetgeving. Kennis van de Nederlandse wetgeving ("Wft") en ervaring met de Belgische regulatoren zijn mooie additionele troeven.
- Je spreekt zeer goed Nederlands of Frans met een goede tot zeer goede kennis van het Engels.
Volgende talenten maken je nog sterker:
- je bent een echte "business enabler";
- je bent een pragmaticus zonder in te leveren op de juridische vereisten;
- je hebt geen 9-to-5 mentaliteit;
- je bent communicatief, waarbij je vakjargon weet te vertalen in verstaanbare taal;
- flexibel en je durft ook buiten je eigen expertise domein te gaan;
- een teamplayer die het collectieve doel vooropstelt;
- en gepassioneerd door het concretiseren van complexe regelgeving en het opvolgen van een correcte naleving hiervan in een continu evoluerend reglementair en commercieel kader.
