Location Brussels, Belgium Seniority level Mid‑Senior Employment type Full‑time Job function Engineering & Information Technology Industries IT Services & IT Consulting Responsibilities You introduce new ideas and best practices and use state‑of‑the‑art technology to develop robust and scalable solutions. You work with sales to identify opportunities and translate customer challenges into a well‑grounded technical solution and plan of action. You design and implement cloud‑native applications with Java, Kotlin and Spring Boot, ensuring stable and secure integration with other systems. You set up modern CI/CD pipelines with Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring high quality through test automation and monitoring. You develop front‑end components in Angular that connect to back‑end services and contribute to an optimal user experience. You present your solutions to customers and stakeholders, process feedback and defend well‑grounded technical choices. You work closely with developers, designers and architects, take responsibility for final delivery quality and ensure the optimal balance between customer requirements and resources. Required Skills & Knowledge Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, Angular, microservices, event‑driven, cloud‑native architectures, CI/CD, version control (Git), test automation, monitoring tools. Your Profile You have a strong passion for building high‑quality digital solutions and the ability to convince both customers and colleagues. You have extensive experience with Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes and Angular. You have knowledge of modern software architectures (microservices, event‑driven, cloud‑native). You are proficient with CI/CD, version control (Git), test automation and monitoring tools. You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Software Engineering or a related field, and have at least 5 years of relevant professional or project experience. You have experience in a lead or senior role, with proven success in guiding teams and projects. You are bilingual in Dutch and French, and fluent in English. Why Join adesso Belgium?
