We want you to be a part of our team, from **Brussels**, as a**Senior Java Developer**.**

**Nature of the main tasks**
- Development and integration of software components
- Implement core business logic
- Creation of servers and databases for functionality
- Understanding and implementation of security and data protection
- Production of technical documentation
- Systems integration
- Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system
- Mentoring and supervising Developer Consultants
- Cross-platform optimisation
- Design and develop APIs
- Participating in the design and creation of scalable software
- Taking lead on projects, as needed
- Maintenance of code integrity and organisation
- Writing clean, functional code on the front-end and/or back-end
- Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues

**Knowledge and competences**
- Extensive programming experience
- Good knowledge of architecture best practices and patterns
- Good knowledge of interoperability technologies (web services, message oriented middleware, service oriented bus, event architecture)
- Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly
- Capacity of leading teams and inspire others
- Deep knowledge of either GIS, Front-end, Back-end or Full-Stack development

**GIS**
- Geospatial data analysis
- Front End Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Provides support to Developers who need to interface with GIS system

**Front-end**
- JavaScript / JQuery /Angular / Typescript / Vue.js / KendoUI, ability to use front end languages to the full potential
- Bootstrap: ability to develop responsive web sites for both desktop and mobile layouts
- HTML5
- Development of user interfaces for web or mobile
- Web Application Security
- Web Services. Ability to design, develop Web Services,

**Services REST or SOAP**
- Windows and Linux
- Ability to respect deadlines and budget allocated, and follow instructions.
- Respect for development standards and best practices
- Web Application Security

**SQL ability**
- Make full use of SQL Language
- Good knowledge of Oracle RDBMS and ability to query in native SQL language
- Maintain and develop PL/SQL packages
- UML, BPMN

**Programming Languages**:

- Java. Ability to design, develop and review software components build using Java (Spring/Struts/Hibernate frameworks)
