In the role of Technical Works Manager you will have to optimize fleet intervention projects by ensuring that schedules align with production priorities and are executed seamlessly. Your main taks and responsibilities will be: Receive and evaluate 'ready to schedule' job packages from technical engineers. Create comprehensive schedules, assigning required skills, resources, and other needs. Manage the stage gate preparation process and develop specific schedules for distribution to the Technical Supervisors of the Fleet Intervention project. Track daily progress during execution and report on any corrective actions necessary to speed up tasks. Ensure timely initiation of tasks by coordinating safety inspections, site arrivals, and the availability of tools. Lead minor repair tasks in the absence of the project manager and coordinate with technical supervisors. In order to perform this role you will need: Outstanding communication and reporting abilities which will make you a collaborative team member. Very good skills in using planning software like Primavera and Microsoft Project (can be acquired during employment if necessary). Extensive technical expertise in ship repair and conversion. Forward-thinking attitude with excellent analytical and planning skills. Competence in collecting and synthesizing data from diverse sources. Strong leadership capabilities. Ability to establish and sustain robust relationships with vessels, vessel management, and subcontractors. Flexibility for a preparation-to-execution ratio of approximately 3:1: the preparation phase is conducted at headquarters, while the execution phase takes place on-site abroad.
