Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee the financial activities for our Belgian entity. Act as a strategic finance business partner.
  2. Deliver the monthly financials. Supply the accounting team with the necessary info to assure the correct monthly financial close.
  3. Link between the Sales team, Customer delivery team and finance / accounting.
  4. Perform operational financial tasks such as invoicing, order validation, payroll validation, etc.
  5. Participate in the budget/forecast cycles and perform various variance & trend analysis.
  6. Continuously improve the financial and operational KPIs and dashboards that help guide strategic decisions.
  7. Participate to ad hoc projects (process improvements, tax optimisation, etc.)
  8. Stay informed about general taxation matters.
  9. Participate in establishing and maintaining financial policies and procedures for the company.
  10. Role also includes fleet and facilities responsibilities.
  11. Finalise new car orders, link up with lease and insurance partners, set lease criteria, etc.
Your Profile
  1. Strong business acumen and at least 3 years of experience in a controlling, accounting, audit or similar financial position.
  2. A bachelor or master degree in Economics or Business Administration (Accountancy or Finance oriented).
  3. Cooperative communication style and hands-on.
  4. Strategic thinker, able to convince stakeholders with analysis and proposals.
  5. Detail-oriented and thorough, and enjoy developing structures and systems.
  6. Fluent in Dutch and English at a business professional level (French is an asset).
  7. You have excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel). Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a great plus.
