Freelance Business Project Manager (Salesforce) Description. This mission supports a major transformation initiative focused on optimising business processes and customer journeys through Salesforce. The organisation is rolling out and enhancing multiple Salesforce modules to improve operational efficiency, payments flow, and cross-functional collaboration. The Project Manager will ensure successful delivery of several parallel business projects, driving alignment between business stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams. This role sits firmly on the business side (not IT) and requires a strong understanding of Salesforce as a platform and of industry best practices within payments. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Lead and coordinate 2 or more business projects in parallel. Drive project planning, capacity management, and long-term roadmap alignment. Facilitate workshops using an Agile mindset and guide stakeholders through agile ways of working. Leverage strong knowledge of the Salesforce package, including setup, transactions, acquisition flows, and enablement. Oversee and challenge external suppliers to ensure delivery quality and adherence to scope. Report progress, risks, and KPIs to internal stakeholders and senior management. Conduct risk management and proactively follow up on mitigation actions. Manage and prioritise user stories within Salesforce Agile Accelerator. Collaborate with teams using Salesforce modules such as CPQ and FSL (knowledge of these is a plus). Ensure solutions align with business needs and market expectations while maintaining a non-technical but deeply business-driven perspective. Candidate Requirements Experience 4+ years as a Business Project Manager working in waterfall environments (required). 3+ years in agile environments (preferred). Proven track record managing business-side projects (non-technical). Strong experience in the payments industry (highly preferred). Technical & Functional Skills Full lifecycle experience with the Salesforce platform (required). Hands-on experience with Salesforce Agile Accelerator (strongly preferred). Understanding of Salesforce CPQ and Field Service Lightning is a bonus. Ability to translate business needs into effective project plans and user story definitions. Soft Skills Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to challenge suppliers and internal teams. Comfortable coordinating multiple workstreams simultaneously.
