Ad Interim IT Manager Infrastructure Our client is an international organiser of professional trade shows and operator of event venues across multiple countries. With over 100 events annually and offices in more than a dozen countries, the company is experiencing rapid growth and increasing requirements for cybersecurity and standardised IT infrastructure. They are looking for an Ad Interim IT Manager Infrastructure (temporary role with potential extension, starting February 2026) to lead the design and implementation of a centralised office IT infrastructure strategy. The Role As Ad Interim IT Manager Infrastructure, you will lead the design and rollout of a secure, scalable, and efficient group-wide office IT infrastructure. Your key responsibilities include: Analyse current IT infrastructure across multiple countries and identify gaps, redundancies, and risks Design and implement a centralised office IT architecture covering Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Active Directory, hardware, LAN/WAN, MDM, telephony, and security Harmonise processes, standards, and service levels across offices to ensure consistency and efficiency Evaluate, select, and manage external IT vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts where necessary Manage the office IT budget and build business cases for centralisation and optimisation Collaborate with local IT managers to ensure adoption and compliance with the central strategy Ensure alignment with cybersecurity requirements, regulatory standards, and organisational policies Prepare governance frameworks, documentation, and playbooks for sustainable management of IT infrastructure Act as a hands-on, visible leader across projects, providing guidance and coordination to teams and stakeholders Who We Are Looking For We are seeking a highly experienced operational and results-oriented IT leader with extensive experience in infrastructure management within international organisations. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with operational execution capabilities and has the ability to align multiple stakeholders across countries. Profile Minimum 10 years' experience in IT infrastructure within medium-to-large international organisations Experience in designing and implementing centralised IT strategies across multiple locations Strong technical skills in Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Active Directory, LAN/WAN, MDM platforms, telephony, and cybersecurity Proven experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and budget responsibility Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and regulatory requirements Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilities Demonstrated ability to lead international teams, both directly and indirectly Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments and regions. Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus. Travel to local offices if needed. Working Hybrid - 2 days at the office in Woluwe.
