Join the Automation team ⚙️

  • Lead and develop the Automation department within a major pharmaceutical company
  • Manage and coordinate a team of Automation Engineers and technical specialists
  • Define the technical strategy, standards and priorities of the Automation department
  • Oversee automation projects from concept and design through engineering, commissioning and qualification
  • Ensure the delivery of robust and compliant automation solutions for complex pharmaceutical processes
  • Act as the main technical point of contact for Automation-related topics
  • Work closely with Process, Electrical, Instrumentation, Validation, QA and Production teams
  • Ensure compliance with GMP/GxP requirements and pharmaceutical industry standards
  • Provide technical expertise on PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI, MES and industrial communication systems
  • Support the qualification and validation activities related to automation systems
  • Manage resources, planning, budgets and technical performance within the department
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement and standardisation across Automation activities

How to become a Hedonist?

  • Master's degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field
  • 10+ years of professional experience in Automation / Control Systems
  • Strong experience within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Excellent understanding of pharmaceutical processes, production environments and the technical requirements that come with them
  • Proven experience in leading teams and managing technical departments
  • Strong knowledge of PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI and MES
  • Solid understanding of GMP/GxP, qualification, validation and CSV
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering environments
  • Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Dutch is a strong plus
  • Proactive, structured and solution-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable working in a complex, highly regulated and demanding environment
