De rol
In de rol van Azure Consultant ga je proactief en zelfstandig aan de slag. Jij bepaalt de richting en draagt de verantwoordelijkheid over je projecten. Je werkt hierbij samen met een team van Cloud Engineers om zo Cloud strategieën om te zetten in een concreet ontwerp (well architected) en concreet product (operational excellence platform). Hierbij zorg je ervoor dat eerst de basis op orde is door het doorlopen van een Cloud adoptie traject. Denk hierbij aan het toepassen van governance, managed services, cost management en security standaarden. In veel gevallen kun je terugvallen op de intern ontwikkelde best practices, platform extensies en standaarden. Hiernaast ondersteun je ook je collega's. Ook al ben je vrij zelfstandig, je krijgt er energie van om met jouw kennis de pre-sales consultants in technische sales trajecten te ondersteunen.
Azure ontwikkelt zich in een hoog tempo en daarom komt het regelmatig voor dat je innovatief bezig bent. Dat zijn de momenten waarop je het verschil kunt maken voor de klant en Macaw. Ook draai jij je hand niet om voor het delen van je kennis, bijvoorbeeld door het geven van een workshop: je staat graag op de buhne
Je maakt deel uit van de Service Line 'Cloud & Managed Services" waarin kennis delen en samenwerken centraal staan. In dit team werk je aan je eigen ontwikkeling én aan die van je collega's, op de manier die het beste bij jou en je ambitie past.
Wat we zoeken
- Je bent gepassioneerd over Azure en alles wat erop draait;
- HBO denkniveau door opleiding en/of ervaring;
- Ongeveer 2 jaar werkervaring als Cloud Architect in Azure of vergelijkbaar zoals IT Consultant;
- Minimaal 7 jaar werkervaring als Cloud Engineer in een Microsoft omgeving. (Mocht jij nu minder jaren ervaring hebben, schroom dan niet om toch te solliciteren We vinden passie en talent belangrijker dan de jaren ervaring).
- Goed bekend met DevOps way of working en het werken in Agile teams;
- Kennis van Microsoft technologieën, gespecialiseerd op IT infrastructuur, netwerken en identity management. Zowel hybride als cloud-native, bij voorkeur vastgelegd via de Microsoft AZ 303 en AZ 304 certificaten;
- Certificaten als AZ 500, AZ 104, AZ 140 en SC 200 zijn een pré;
- Kennis van ARM en Bicep templates met een Git repo is een pré;
- Je bent communicatief sterk en weet technische oplossingen begrijpelijk te vertalen naar oplossingen;
- Macaw is "people centric" en daar hoort een teamspeler bij. Jij bent een inspirator en je krijgt energie van anderen informeren, adviseren en enthousiasmeren betreffende de Microsoft Cloud;
- Je hebt ervaring met adviseren op senior management en/of C-level niveau;
- Je taalvaardigheid in zowel Engels als Nederlands zijn op business level.

- Flexibele werktijden (32-40). De meesten van ons zijn 1-3 dagen op kantoor, een paar dagen thuis of bij de klant;
- Een mooi kantoor met leuke dingen zoals een pooltafel, tafeltennis, xbox (zoals gezegd zijn we Microsoft-fans).
