We are looking for an experienced IT Solution Architect to join our mission of driving a greener world. Based in Leuven, Belgium, the successful candidate will play a key role in the digital transformation of large-scale battery factories and offices across Europe, Asia, and the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement private cloud solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
- Implement enterprise-level solutions for Windows Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and File Services.
- Define networking architecture, including L2/L3 networking, VPN, wireless and firewall configurations.
- Design, implement, and operate datacenter solutions including networking, power, and infrastructure.
- Implement enterprise security solutions, including identity management and endpoint security.
- Ensure patch management, upgrades, and lifecycle management for enterprise platforms.
- Develop disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity (BCP) strategies.
- Document architectural designs, deployment guides, and operational runbooks.
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate has:
- Between 2 and 5 years of experience working as an IT Solution Architect.
- Hands-on experience with one (or more) of the private cloud solution providers (Redhat, Azure local, Google GDCE, Cloudfront, VMware, etc.).
- Deep knowledge of enterprise networking; L2/L3, LAN/WAN, VPN, etc. Multi-site networking experience is a plus.
- Experience in enterprise solutions administration; Exchange, Active Directory, MFA, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and File Services.
- Proficiency in both Linux and Windows operating systems, including administration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with at least one major firewall or security platform (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco ASA, or similar).
- Prior experience on SAP ECC/HANA architecture and lifecycle management is a plus.
- Experience in datacenter operations, including networking, power, cooling, and infrastructure management.
