Bradford Jacobs are supporting a long-standing client in the European patent and translation services sector in their search for a Dutch-speaking Linguist to join their operational team. Their work includes managing the full patent validation process—translations, coordination with local agents, and all required filings.They maintain ISO17100 certification for translation services, reflecting their strong commitment to quality and consistency.What You'll DoAs a Linguist, you'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of translated patent content. Responsibilities include:Reviewing and refining translations (primarily English → Dutch)Ensuring documents meet quality standards and client specificationsAddressing linguistic or technical queries with customers and suppliersIdentifying process improvements and supporting continuous developmentParticipating in team meetings and contributing to a collaborative cultureWhat They're Looking ForNative or near-native proficiency in DutchExcellent command of English (C1/C2)German or French proficiency is a strong plusEducational or professional experience in translation, linguistics, engineering, or life sciencesHigh attention to detail and strong organisational skillsProactive mindset and adaptability in a dynamic environmentBonus SkillsExperience with CAT toolsUnderstanding of intellectual property or patent processesCustomer-focused approach and commercial awarenessStrong problem-solving and communication abilitiesWhat's OfferedFull-time hybrid position (1 day a week in the office)Competitive salary aligned with experience up to €45,000 per annumGroup insurance & hospital insuranceMeal and eco-vouchersAnnual bonus
