Job Description:Siemens Smart Infrastructure is looking for a Project & Business Developer to oversee, monitor & coordinate project and service operations and bridge between Sales, Service & Projects to ensure maximum efficiency and profitability of the client service and maximize client satisfaction for our Key Accounts Industry in the Regional Solutions & Services business unit. These Key Accounts are located in Brussels, Leuven, Mechelen and Antwerp.
The Smart Infrastructure division is the global leader in the market for safe infrastructures, energy-efficient buildings ('green buildings') and smart spaces.
As a Project & Business Developer, you are the link between the customer and Siemens' services. You will oversee and coordinate our projects and services, execute commercial-strategical activities, develop projects with the client, monitor client satisfaction, implement and develop digital services, and promote process optimization. You apply a holistic and technical-strategical approach and maintain a broad view in your decision-making.
You act as a single point of contact for the customers assigned to you.
This entails the following responsibilities:
- Project management: Actively participate in projects, organize project review meetings, manage Profit & Loss responsibility, and act as a point of escalation for urgent cases.
- Client Management: Monitor the activities, technology, and needs of the customer; ensure an optimal relationship; organize meetings, carry out site visits, and efficiently handle customer problems.
- People management: Support, coordinate, and monitor a small team, including capacity planning, evaluations, staffing needs, coaching, and definition of training/career plans.
- Process optimization: Ensure maximum efficiency and profitability of your project & team, monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement appropriate actions.
- Proposal and customer management: Support sales colleagues in convincing prospective clients, draft suitable proposals, and negotiate complex cases.
- Change management: Adapt your team to market realities and keep up with the newest technologies.

- You have solid experience in a technical role in project/operations management.
- You possess strong leadership, communication, and cross-departmental collaboration skills.
- You can translate innovative technology into business opportunities.
- You are results-focused, have a strong analytical mind, and can manage urgent tasks while maintaining team spirit.
- You are positive, constructive, and charismatic and can promote projects for stakeholders.
- You have good presentation and excellent communication skills.
- Fluency in English and Dutch is required; French is a plus.
