Warehouse Manager

However, we have been around since July 2002. Making us a staple at Brussels National airport. Currently we have about 470 people working for us in Belgium.Currently we are looking for aWarehouse Manager (M/F/X)What are your main duties and responsibilities?Ensure the proper functioning of the Ordering, Goods Receiving & Warehousing activities and that goods are ordered, checked, received, organised, and delivered in a timely, correct, safe and cost-effective way.Manager Warehousing Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Ordering, Goods Receiving and Warehousing /inventory activities; Responsible for the quality & Security control of incoming goods/material;Ensures that stock levels are constantly monitored for Ordering, Goods Receiving and Warehousing in line with Days on Hand data, minimum/maximum stock levels;Records and reviews material waste and deadstock and adjust stock levels proactively and accordingly;Responsible for keeping all Ordering, Goods Receiving and Warehousing activities in line with unit finance regulations and audit criteria;Ensure the proper usage and maintenance of the ERP system (WMS module, SAP);To facilitate and conduct audits and daily patrols (including audits of Safety Management System, quality and safety audits);Ensure timely maintenance and repairs for Warehouse machinery;Communicates with internal & external customers on irregularities and takes corrective actions.LeadershipOverall accountability for the Ordering, Goods Receiving and Warehouse activities including recruitment, training and development, and performance management for total team size 25-40 consisting of Buyers, Teamleaders Warehousing and warehouse operators; Ensure appropriate manpower planning based on requirements in the short, mid and long term;Responsible for the maintenance, review and continuous improvement of processes, standards and KPIs within the areas of responsibility;Ensures legal/compliance requirements across health and safety, food safety, and security.Who are we looking for?You have a Bachelor's degree in Logistics of Supply Management or equivalent by experience;You have at least 5 years of working experience in a Warehousing leadership role, You are fluent in English, Dutch and French at least at a working level;Good technical knowledge and experience in ERP, specifically WMS and preferably SAPExcellent communication, presentation, organizational and prioritization ability;Excellent people and budget management skills; Excellent analytical skills and understanding of the basic principles of leanWhat can we offer you?A professional environment where quality and safety are of utmost importance.
