Brussels, Brussels, Belgique QED Temps plein

QED is a Brussels-based event production company. We manage the full lifecycle of live, virtual, and hybrid events — from logistics and on-site coordination to the technical side: streaming, AV setups, and event platforms — for clients in the EU public affairs space.

We're a small, tech-savvy team that likes solving problems creatively and building tailored setups for each event. We work flexibly and value clear, honest communication. This internship is about getting hands-on with real event technology and production, from day one.

  • Assist with the set-up and configuration of online and hybrid event platforms
  • Ensure events run smoothly and participants have a great experience
  • Assist with technical aspects of the production process, including sound and lighting equipment, video and audio streaming, and virtual event software
  • Coordinate with location's AV teams to set up technical equipment for hybrid events
  • Assist with the Live stream during online conferences
  • Assist with troubleshooting technical issues during events
  • Event set-up (cameras, image mixing, sound system, lighting, etc.)
  • Contribute to improving our streaming services and integrating new technology into the QED workflow

  • Motivated and hardworking individual, with a strong work ethic
  • Positive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to stay calm and troubleshoot under pressure
  • Good general IT skills; comfort picking up new software quickly
  • Experience using AI tools professionally, with a curiosity for exploring new AI-driven possibilities
  • Interest in live streaming/A-V (OBS, vMix) or web development is a strong asset
  • Fluent in English; additional EU languages are considered a plus
  • Any relevant experience — internships, school/personal projects, freelance work, etc. — in A/V, streaming, or a related field is an asset
  • Relevant university degree is considered a plus

This is a unique opportunity to expand your knowledge and engage your creativity in virtual and hybrid events. This is a hands-on technical and production role, right in the middle of the action — running cameras, streams, and event platforms. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues in all stages of the event life cycle, receive training and a thorough development plan. This is a 6-months paid internship (CIP contract). The internship will ideally start end October 2026.
