Job Description Draft and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements (e.g., distribution, service contracts). Provide strategic legal advice to support business compliance with local and international regulations. Partner with senior stakeholders across Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, and Operations. Manage and mitigate legal and reputational risks across the BeLux cluster. Oversee commercial litigation and support regulatory engagement. Contribute to regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, competition law, anti-bribery). Promote legal best practices and innovative ways of working. Support and influence global and regional legal strategies at the local level. Coordinate with external legal counsel and regulatory authorities. The Successful Applicant Lawyer or Legal Counsel with from 4 to 15 years of experience in commercial law (in-house or private practice). Strong business acumen with the ability to influence senior management and cross-functional teams. Experienced in navigating regulatory frameworks in sectors like Tobacco, Food, Pharma, or FMCG. Fluent in English and perfect knowledge of French or Dutch. Strategic, pragmatic, and adaptable under pressure.
