SABIC Europe zet zich in om zijn activiteiten uit te voeren op een veilige en gezonde manier ter bescherming van alle medewerkers, klanten als ook de (lokale) gemeenschappen waarin we actief zijn. We nemen ook onze verantwoordelijkheid op het gebied van het bewaken van de integriteit van onze installaties en de milieuaspecten ter bescherming van het leefmilieu. Binnen dit kader adviseert en ondersteunt EHSS SABIC Limburg BV het management bij de uitvoering van SHE-beleid, -eisen en -normen op het gebied van Veiligheid, Gezondheid en Milieu, om ervoor te zorgen dat organisatorische entiteiten hun activiteiten op een verantwoorde en duurzame manier uitvoeren met betrekking tot License to Operate en een letsel- en incidentvrije werkomgeving.
Om site Geleen te ondersteunen in het bereiken van deze doelstellingen zijn we op zoek naar een EHSS Manager, welke deel zal uitmaken van het EHSS Management Team.
WAT GA JE DOEN?
- De implementatie van het EHSS-beleid borgen en optimaliseren binnen de verschillende productielocaties van SABIC Geleen als ook onze aannemers/partner ter continue verbetering van de veiligheidsprestaties. Hiertoe behoort ook het uitwerken, coördineren en/of drijven van vernieuwende ideeën rondom EHSS-gerelateerde programma’s, projecten, processen en trainingen.
- Leiding geven aan een team van veiligheidsprofessionals (AH; HVK, TA EHSS Engineer en Transport Safety Specialist), coachen van de SHEM-analysten
- Actief deelnemen aan diverse netwerken zoals Site EHSS team meetings, Culture Network, Health and Safety Network, Chemicals Management Network.
- Opvolging van incidenten: leveren van inhoudelijke bijdrage aan incidentenonderzoek waar nodig (inclusief faciliteren van de RCA/teamonderzoeken) en stimuleren van de organisatie om te leren van de incidenten.
- Als eigenaar/manager (Element Leader), implementeren, auditen en optimaliseren van elementen van het Operationeel Management Systeem op het gebied van Incident Managementen Industriële Hygiëne, inclusief borging van lokale wet- en regelgeving hierin.
- Aanspreekpunt en professionele adviseur voor Site management over veiligheid en gezondheid gerelateerde zaken.
- Verbeteren van de veiligheidsprestaties door middel van veiligheidsinspecties, veldcontroles, risicobeoordelingen, projectbeheer van veiligheidsprojecten.
WAT NEEM JIJ MEE?
- Academisch/HBO werk- en denkniveau
- Bij voorkeur een afgeronde MOSHE of HVK opleiding, met minimaal 5 jaar werkervaring in soortgelijke managementfunctie als ook werkomgeving
- Tactische en strategische communicatievaardigheden. In staat om op te treden als EHSS-vertegenwoordiger van SABIC op verschillende niveaus (intern en extern).
- Ervaring in het inspireren van een team - tot een gehele organisatie - om een lerende organisatie te blijven op het gebied van EHSS.
- Creativiteit op het gebied van het ontwikkelen van innovatieve EHSS-programma's.
- Gevraagd en ongevraagd advies geven aan het management over EHSS aspecten.
- Uitstekende beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal, zowel schriftelijk als mondeling.
