Transport Safety Engineer – Geleen, The Netherlands
SABIC Europe zet zich in om zijn activiteiten uit te voeren op een veilige en gezonde manier ter bescherming van alle medewerkers, klanten als ook de (lokale) gemeenschappen waarin we actief zijn.
We nemen ook onze verantwoordelijkheid op het gebied van het bewaken van de integriteit van onze installaties en de milieuaspecten ter bescherming van het leefmilieu.
Binnen dit kader adviseert en ondersteunt EHSS SABIC Limburg BV het management bij de uitvoering van SHE-beleid, -eisen en -normen op het gebied van Veiligheid, Gezondheid en Milieu, om ervoor te zorgen dat organisatorische entiteiten hun activiteiten op een verantwoorde en duurzame manier uitvoeren met betrekking tot License to Operate en een letsel- en incidentvrije werkomgeving.
Om site Geleen te ondersteunen in het bereiken van deze doelstellingen zijn we op zoek naar een Transport Safety Engineer om onze afdeling EHSS bij SABIC site Geleen te versterken.
DOEL VAN DE FUNCTIE EN VERANTWOORDELIJKHEDEN
De primaire taak en verantwoordelijkheid van de Transport Safety Engineer is de rol van veiligheidsadviseur gevaarlijke stoffen volgens de (inter)nationale regelgeving voor ADR, ADN
en RID binnen de verschillende productielocaties van SABIC in Geleen. Als expert geef je actieve ondersteuning aan de organisatie bij het continu verbeteren van transportveiligheid en EHS.
BELANGRIJKSTE TAKEN
- Functioneren als Subject Matter Expert (veiligheidsadviseur) op het gebied van transportveiligheid van gevaarlijke goederen over de weg, per spoor en over binnenwateren (ADR, RID en ADN).
- Ondersteunen, trainen en coachen van collega's binnen de organisatie op specifieke transportveiligheidsgebieden.
- Ontwikkelen, implementeren en optimaliseren van transportveiligheid gerelateerde procedures, instructies en trainingen, waaronder ook het borgen van lokale wet- en regelgeving en het uitvoeren van audit.
- Ondersteunen en waar nodig een inhoudelijke bijdrage leveren aan incidentenonderzoek.
- Vertegenwoordigen van SABIC als expert op het gebied van transportveiligheid op zowel externe als interne vergaderingen
- Faciliteren van inspecties en audits van (overheids)instanties
- Ondersteunen van supply chain management bij diverse onderwerpen die te maken hebben met het vervoer van gevaarlijke stoffen over de weg, per spoor en binnenvaart van en naar SABIC Geleen.
MINIMALE OPLEIDINGS-/ERVARINGSVEREISTEN
- Technische HBO werk- en denkniveau (Bachelor diploma of gelijkwaardig).
- Ervaring in het veld van vervoer van gevaarlijke goederen
- Certificering van minimaal één van de drie transportgebieden: ADR, ADN en/of RID
- Een afgeronde MVK / HVK opleiding is een pré.
- Tactische en strategische communicatieve vaardigheden en in staat om op verschillende niveaus (intern en extern)
- op te treden als transportveiligheid vertegenwoordiger van SABIC.
- Ervaring met het opzetten en geven van trainingen.
- Aantoonbaar gevraagd en ongevraagd advies kunnen geven aan het management over EHS en transportveiligheidsaspecten
- Uitstekende beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal, zowel schriftelijk als mondeling
