Freelance Quality Operations Lead

For a global customer near the Flemish/Dutch border, I am searching for a freelance Quality Operations consultant to lead their QA Operations department. This is an interim position whilst they search for a permanent member of staff.It is a young team of 10 colleagues who are mainly responsible for opening and cleaning production lines, documentation, packaging and correct labelling. They require someone senior who can guide the team, but also has experience in a GMP environment for key projects to ensure production compliance.ResponsibilitiesPerforming line checks and line releasePreparing batch documentation and performing follow-up checksEstimating and supporting deviations in production, including log checksYou coordinate the daily quality related to production activities in collaboration with the production and planning departmentYou will help manage operational, quality-related instructions and proceduresYou will support and lead (on an ad hoc basis) project-based initiativesYou act as an organizational backup for the continuity of the departmental operationsYou will work on timely and compliant GMP work processes and provide support in productionProfileYou have experience in a managerial position (preferably in a GMP production environment)You have a master's degree or equivalent through extensive experiencePreferably you have experience with packaging materials and artworkExperience with quality systems; experience with GMP is required, ISO 13485 is a plusExperience in conducting and participating in quality auditsGood knowledge of the usual computer applicationsYou are a real people manager and motivatorAble to set priorities and monitor this prioritizationMaintain high standards of quality and integrityYou are a real team player and able to work together with all layers in the organizationAble to think in terms of processes, have a positive attitude and think in terms of solutionsYou are accurateAdditional DetailsSTART DATE: ASAP/JanuaryDURATION: 12 MonthsEXTENSION: TBCCONTRACT: FreelanceLOCATION: Limburg (near Flemish/Dutch border)ONSITE POLICY: 4 days per weekHOURS PER WEEK: 40LANGUAGES: Fluent DutchINTERVIEW PROCESS: 2 stagesIf you are interested, please forward your updated resume to jay.kukoyi@vividresourcing.com to be considered.
