Freelance Supply Chain Crisis Manager

For an international customer in Limburg, I am searching for a Crisis Manager to work in a supply chain – warehouse context, responsible for restoring order, safety, and compliance within the organization during situations of disruption, non-compliance, or acute operational problems. The role focuses on rapid intervention, structural improvement, and ensuring continuity.Crisis Analysis & Problem DiagnosisRapidly identify violations, risks, and causes of non-compliance.Perform risk analyses and impact assessments.Report findings to management or MT.EnforcementEnforce existing rules, safety regulations, and procedures.Implement immediate measures to prevent escalation.Provide guidance to supervisors and operational staff.Respond to violations according to established guidelines and escalation models.Operational Crisis ManagementCoordinating actions between departments (logistics, HR, safety, planning, production, customer care, etc.).Acting as a central point of contact during incidents or structural crises.Communication & Stakeholder ManagementClear communication to employees about rules, changes, and measures.Reporting to management, supervisors, and relevant stakeholders.Conflict mediation and managing resistance within teams.Structural ImprovementEstablishing or improving compliance processes, controls, and KPIs.Evaluating incidents and implementing improvement initiatives.Training and coaching employees and managers in compliance and safety awareness.ProfileExposure to supply chain – warehouse environments.Background in logistics (and knowledge of associated processes) is preferredStrong leadership and intervention skills.Stress-resistant, decisive, and clear communication skills.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Decisive and objective enforcement.Ability to bring structure to chaotic situations.Additional DetailsSENIORITY: SeniorSTART DATE: JanuaryDURATION: 12 MonthsEXTENSION: YesCONTRACT: FreelanceLOCATION: LimburgONSITE POLICY: Onsite (4-5 days per week)HOURS PER WEEK: 40LANGUAGES: Fluent Dutch and EnglishINTERVIEW PROCESS: 1-2 stagesIf you are interested, please forward your updated resume to jay.kukoyi@vividresourcing.com to be considered.
