This is an excellent opportunity for a Social Compliance Administrator to join the team on a major data centre project in Mons and develop their experience within social compliance, workforce compliance, and ESG.
The Role
As Social Compliance Administrator, you will provide administrative and coordination support to the project’s social compliance function, helping to ensure workforce documentation, records, and processes are maintained accurately and in line with Belgian and EU requirements.
Working closely with the compliance team, project teams, subcontractors, and labour providers, you will assist with reviewing workforce documentation, maintaining compliance records, preparing reports, and supporting audits and inspections.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who is interested in developing a career within social compliance, HR compliance, ESG, or ethical supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the social compliance function.
- Review and organise workforce documentation including employment contracts, right-to-work records, timesheets, payslips, and posted worker documentation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance records, trackers, and project documentation.
- Assist with checking subcontractor and labour agency documentation against project requirements.
- Support the administration of Belgian workforce requirements, including Limosa and posted worker documentation.
- Assist with the preparation and coordination of social compliance audits and inspections.
- Record compliance issues and support the tracking of corrective actions and outstanding documentation.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and information for project compliance meetings and KPI reporting.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and labour providers to obtain missing or updated workforce documentation.
- Respond to routine compliance queries and escalate more complex matters to the relevant compliance team member.
- Support the organisation of workforce welfare initiatives, training sessions, and toolbox talks.
- Work closely with HR, Procurement, HSE, and Project Management teams to support effective compliance processes across the project.
About You
- Previous experience within administration, compliance administration, HR administration, project administration, or a similar role.
- Strong organisational and document management skills.
- Comfortable reviewing and maintaining detailed workforce and compliance documentation.
- Knowledge of Belgian employment requirements, Limosa, or posted worker regulations would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Experience within construction, engineering, data centres, or another project-based environment would be beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple administrative tasks.
- Confident communicating with internal teams, subcontractors, and external labour providers.
- Fluent in English; French, Dutch, or another European language would be beneficial.
- Proactive, organised, and keen to develop within social compliance or workforce compliance.
