Description OverviewAs an Accountant you will provide support to the Perrigo Business Service center in Poland for the BeNeLux entities.
Scope of the Role- Performs general accounting activities requiring insight and understanding of the BeNeLux entity
- Applies accounting techniques and standard practices to the classification and recording of financial transactions
- Interact with local auditors for the audit of allocated processes where not in scope of PBS
- Performs some closing tasks of a legal entity under local GAAP and US GAAP, where task is out of scope of PBS
- Will assist in preparing tax reconciliations from local Tax to US GAAP
- Supports PBS in reporting intercompany balances and reconciliations
- May significantly contribute to preparation of a variety of reasonably standard, periodic "intermediate" or "end products", trial balances, balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements or statements of sourcing and application of funds as well as local country specific external reports to authorities, where service is not supported by PBS
- Professional Bachelor degree or equivalent; typically a minimum of 4 years' work experience required
- Solid knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office tools
- Solid understanding of local GAAP requirements that are relevant for BeNeLux
- Foreign language skills: English (French is an asset)
- Good working experience with VAT & Intrastat, local Tax requirements
- Ability to function in a remote team
- Ability to execute fast and accurate
