CO₂ Capture pilot Engineer

As a CO₂ Capture Pilot Engineer, you will be responsible for the daily operation and supervision of the pilot installation, data analysis, and supporting maintenance activities. Key Responsibilities: Operate and monitor the CO₂ capture pilot installation via the process control system (HMI/SCADA) according to the experimental test plan: start/stop the unit, adjust setpoints (temperature, pressure, flow, concentrations), monitor alarms and trends, and follow comparative tests and defined test sequences. Optimize PID controllers to stabilize the process and improve measurement quality. Perform routine operation and maintenance tasks: visual inspections, calibration of sensors and analyzers, waste management, filter replacement. Organize and supervise more complex maintenance activities with internal or external teams, ensuring safety and continuity of experiments. Supervise laboratory work: preparation of chemical solutions, absorbent solvents, titrations, and simple analyses (concentration, pH, etc.). Required Qualifications & Skills: Industrial Engineer in Process Chemistry or equivalent Experience in an industrial environment Experience with process control systems (e.g., Siemens) and the ability to optimize PID controllers Strong commitment to safety culture and adherence to procedures Analytical and problem-solving mindset, teamwork spirit, and adaptability #J-18808-Ljbffr
