Waar kom je te werken?
Als Manager Quality/Research & Development (Manager Q/R&D) maak jij deel uit van onze afdeling Kwaliteit die overkoepelend werkt voor VVM en Cementbouw. Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de Operations Manager en geeft leiding aan de verantwoordelijke van de laboteams op de productielocaties te Antwerpen (BE), Rieme (BE) en Wanssum (NL).
Hoe zien jouw werkzaamheden er uit?
Als je jezelf graag verder wilt ontwikkelen tot een echte vakspecialist binnen onze dynamische cementwereld, dan ben je aan het juiste adres. Je bent iemand die analytisch en accuraat is en graag jouw werkervaring en kennis binnen deze wereld wil gebruiken.
De functie Manager Q/R&D is een rol met verantwoordelijkheid voor het kwaliteitsmanagementsysteem en het onderhouden van contact met verschillende certificeringsinstanties, zoals Be-cert = BE / KOMO = NL, lid zijn van Febelcem (= sectorfederatie) en andere technische commissies. Je krijgt te maken met de geldende ISO-normen, zorgt voor de nodige rapporteringen en aanbevelingen en bent ook bezig met een goede klachtenafhandeling.
Als Manager Q/R&D draag jij de eindverantwoordelijkheid van onze afdeling Kwaliteit, de laboratoria van alle productielocaties in België en Nederland en draag je zorg voor de optimale bezetting van deze diensten. Je streeft bij de uitvoering van jouw werkzaamheden steeds naar een collegiale samenwerking, zowel binnen de afdeling Kwaliteit als in samenwerking met interne en externe stakeholders.
Het aansturen van diverse onderzoeks- en cementtechnologische activiteiten, zoals optimalisatie en beheer van recepten, kwaliteitscontrole, rapportering van analyseresultaten, bevindt zich allemaal in jouw invloedssfeer. Vernieuwing mag in dit verhaal niet ontbreken. Wij rekenen op jou om actief mee te denken over en mee te werken aan nieuwe of doorontwikkelde producten. Innovatie, duurzaamheid en toekomstvisie staan hier centraal. Ook duurzaamheid zal een belangrijke factor zijn, waarbij wij op jou rekenen om vanuit jouw functie de nodige begeleiding te voorzien in de projecten rond CO²-reductie.

Onze ideale kandidaat
- Masterdiploma, in een scheikundige richting of bouw;
- Minstens 5 jaar ervaring in een vergelijkbare functie en leidinggeven;
- Je bent iemand met sterke analytische skills en bent in de mogelijkheid om conceptueel te denken;
- Je hebt de nodige ervaring binnen projectmanagement en je bent iemand die beschikt over een langetermijnvisie en die deze visie kan verbinden en uitdragen;
- Uitstekende beheersing van het Nederlands en Engels, zowel schriftelijk als gesproken. Goede kennis van de Franse taal is een plus.
