Over het bedrijfOnze klant is een toonaangevend full service distributiebedrijf binnen de sector van zware machines en industriële apparatuur. Ze bieden hun klanten totaaloplossingen op het vlak van verkoop, verhuur en service. Over de rolAls Head of QESH maak je deel uit van het directieteam en ben je de drijvende kracht achter het kwaliteits-, milieu- en veiligheidsbeleid binnen de organisatie. Je bouwt verder op het bestaande fundament en verankert een sterke QESH-cultuur doorheen de hele organisatie. Je staat dicht bij de vloer en onderhoudt nauw contact met alle lagen binnen de organisatie.Je draagt de eindverantwoordelijkheid voor het volledige QESH-beleid, met een sterke focus op veiligheid. Je zit het CPBW voor, coördineert ISO- en VCA-audits en werkt pragmatische oplossingen uit voor veiligheids- en milieu-uitdagingen. Je organiseert en leidt periodieke toolboxmeetings, voert risicoanalyses uit, onderzoekt arbeidsongevallen en zorgt voor de implementatie van preventieve maatregelen en fungeert als centraal aanspreekpunt voor alle QESH-gerelateerde zaken binnen de organisatie. Daarnaast onderhoud je contacten met externe partijen en vertaal je het strategische QESH-actieplan naar concrete initiatieven op de werkvloer. Tot slot zorg je voor duidelijke communicatie, sensibilisering en opleiding binnen de organisatie om een blijvende en bestendige veiligheids- en kwaliteitscultuur te garanderen. In deze rol rapporteer je rechtstreeks aan de Managing Director.
