We are seeking a proactive and organized Operations and Finance Support Officer to join our team. In this role, you will play an integral part in the smooth functioning of our business operations and financial processes.
Your Role: What Will You Do?In this dynamic position, you will contribute across various domains, including:
Office Management & Organization:
Ensure a well-structured and welcoming office environment, handle facility management, and support management with agendas and meeting organization.
Digitalization & Automation Support (ERP, CRM):
Assist in optimizing operational and financial processes through automation, enhancing productivity and efficiency.
- Digitally process and book purchase invoices, sales invoices, and financial transactions.
- Collaborate with our Financial Manager and accounting partners on tasks such as VAT filings, tax forms, and year-end closures.
HR Support:
Facilitate onboarding for new employees and maintain personnel records in partnership with HR service providers.
Communication & Liaison:
Serve as the primary contact point for internal staff, suppliers, and external partners.
Team Building & Events:
Organize company events, team-building activities, and other initiatives to foster a positive work environment.
You are a self-driven individual with excellent organizational skills and a collaborative mindset. Your proactive approach enables you to manage diverse responsibilities effectively. Here's what you bring to the table:
- At least 2 years of experience in administrative or office management roles, ideally with exposure to financial processes.
- Familiarity with accounting and administrative functions, including invoice handling and financial records.
- A degree in a relevant field such as Business Economics, Accounting-Taxation, Office Management, or Applied Economics.
- Proficiency in tools like MS Office, Google Services, and ERP/accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central/Navision is a plus).
- Knowledge of VAT returns, tax filings, and year-end procedures is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is an asset.
- A hands-on attitude, detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to work independently or in a team.
