Description

In general, the objective of the position is to analyze the insurability of risks to be underwritten:

The position includes the following responsibilities:

  • Managing a broker/client portfolio
  • Analyzing the risks when receiving the quotation requests
  • The pricing of the risks
  • The preparation of a quotation and the management of the quotation until its closure
  • The management of closed coverages
  • Responsibility for the management and development of your assigned brokerage portfolio
  • Maintaining external contacts through more regular broker visits
  • Development of the business figure (within the framework of the company's strategy)
  • Making risk analyses that are very closely aligned with the company's strategy
  • Keeping careful track of pending files and close communication with the claims department and risk management department
Your profile
  • You have a very good command of the languages Dutch and English. French is also not unimportant and therefore a big plus.
  • Experience in the maritime insurance world is a must.
  • You are a team player, motivated, communicative and meticulous.
  • You have thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office in general (Outlook, Word, Excel,...).
