Kronos by Epsa is currently looking for a Junior Financial Controller for one of our banking clients based in Leuven. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with up to 2 years of experience to develop their expertise within a regulated banking environment. Your role As a Junior Financial Controller, you will support accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting while working closely with senior stakeholders. Your key responsibilities include: Coordinating monthly and quarterly closings, including controlling, analysis, and reporting on costs and income Performing driver-based cost analyses and providing insights and recommendations to senior management Preparing financial statements and ensuring reporting to financial regulators and authorities Acting as the Single Point of Contact for external auditors and following up on open audit points Handling ad hoc financial queries from various business lines within your scope Your profile Up to 2 years of experience in accounting and/or cost controlling Strong knowledge of financial reporting in a regulated environment is a plus Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Fluency in Dutch and English Key competencies: Analytical thinking Effective communication Flexibility and adaptability Ability to work independently Strong priority management Quality-driven mindset Stress resistance What We Offer At Kronos by EPSA, you don't just take on a job – you build a career.
