The headquarter has Belgian offices in Brussels, Ghent and Ostend, as well as 8 production plants, 24 sales subsidiaries and offices and a whole network of independent distributors and dealers across the EMEA region.
To support the digital transformation of the planning function, we are looking for a Project Lead - Business Analysis to join the corporate planning EMEA headquarter team located in Brussels.
Department
The Corporate Planning department consists of several sections: Group Controlling, Business Analytics, Daikin Europe Planning, Corporate Communication as well as Internal control and SAP authorization office. These teams coordinate together the budget-making and execution for Daikin in the entire EMEA region (turnover of more than 4 billion EUR).
Function
As a Project Lead - Business Analysis in the Daikin Europe planning section, you will be responsible for supporting the affiliates and departments in implementation and usage of our connected planning tool (Anaplan). This planning tool is used for budgeting and forecasting primarily on sales but also other domains such as Logistics, Supply, Manpower, finance etc. You will join a start-up like team, which has already implemented first models. You will be involved in the implementation track towards other planning areas within Daikin providing you the chance to build up knowledge on Daikin and Anaplan.
You will drive improvements and development of the Anaplan environment. In particular, you will:
- be involved in, and/or lead, several projects to implement new Anaplan modules, connecting the various planning processes
- acquire in-depth knowledge of several Anaplan modules and use your knowledge to support various departments and sales affiliates in questions related to use of those environments; the questions may concern day-to-day use but also more complex issues such as setup of new reports and changes to the model. In short, you will become an Anaplan Model Builder (formal training/qualifications provided by Anaplan).

Your profile
- You have a Master's degree,
- You already have experience as project lead or 3+ years of experience in an analytical position,
- You possess excellent analytical skills and demonstrate good communication skills,
- You are result-driven with a strong focus on improvements,
- You have experience with BI tools (BW/BO, Power Bi,…) or Business Planning tools,
- Experience with Anaplan is a strong plus, but not a must,
- You have an excellent knowledge of English; knowledge of other EU languages is an asset.
