Wat ga je doen?
Je bent samen met je team verantwoordelijk voor het plannen van intermodale transporten voor interne en externe klanten. Het gaat hier hoofdzakelijk om transport van containers.
Je streeft hierbij naar een optimaal rendement met behulp van de beschikbare middelen (vervoerders, vrachtwagens en capaciteit) rekening houdend met de prioriteiten en de beperkingen, met als doel aan de klant/agent een optimale service te bieden. Je zorgt voor een goede samenwerking met en binnenin je team alsook voor het motiveren en ondersteunen van je mensen om de bedrijfsdoelstellingen te behalen.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Je geeft leiding aan je team door hen te coachen en te motiveren
- Je coördineert en volgt de nodige werkzaamheden van je team op om de continuïteit te garanderen
- Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het plannen en opvolgen van de transportorders met als focus de best mogelijke efficiëntie, rekening houdend met verschillende factoren (kosten, levertermijnen, laad- of losadressen)
- Je vertaalt de strategische doelstellingen vanuit het management naar meetbare KPI's
- Je houdt periodieke vergaderingen met de verschillende stakeholders en geeft toelichting tot de planning en opvolging van de transportorders
- Je zorgt samen met je team dat de operationele problemen worden opgelost
- Je ziet er op toe dat de vervoersopdrachten worden uitbesteed aan de onderaannemers
Wie ben je?
- Je hebt een opleiding logistiek genoten of hebt reeds een relevante ervaring opgedaan, maar vooral heb je een echte passie voor logistiek
- Je beschikt over min. 2j ervaring in een leidinggevende positie
- Je hebt een goed inzicht en kennis van containerlogistiek en import en export
- Je hebt kennis van het nationale en internationale transportnetwerk
- Talen: Nederlands vlot gesproken en geschreven, grondige kennis van Engels (gesproken en geschreven), kennis Duits is een plus
- Je beschikt zeker over volgende competenties: analytisch denken, leiderschap, communicatief, assertief, besluitvaardigheid
