About the job:

Based in Brussels, Belgium you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO's Digital Endeavour. You will join CSU Brussels, which is the leading provider of Communications and Information System (CIS) products and services to locally based NATO entities such as the NATO Headquarters and International and Military Staff. CSU Brussels enables end-to-end CIS services and manages critical technological capabilities during peacetime, crisis and war.

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Technician (Service Desk) – English/French Speaking who will take on the following roles and responsibilities:

  1. Provides customer/user support for incident resolution and requests reported to the Centralized Service Desk;
  2. Creates, maintains, and utilizes standard operating procedures, processes and support documentation;
  3. Validates and assures escalation processes are monitored for SLA compliance;
  4. Establishes strong working relations with customers and team members;
  5. If required, works on a shift pattern to provide 24/7 coverage.

About you:

The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are:

  1. Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 1 year post-related experience. Or a secondary educational qualification with 3 years post-related experience.
  2. Knowledge of and experience in the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of OS Windows, MS Office, and common desktop applications;
  3. Experience in the installation and maintenance of mobile computing solutions (e.g. VPN access, Notebooks, Remote Access and WLAN);
  4. Experience in demanding customer facing roles and in end-user support;
  5. Experience in performing user administration in MS Active Directory and Exchange;
  6. Experience of Outlook configuration and troubleshooting in an MS exchange environment;
  7. ITIL 4 knowledge;
  8. Fluency in English and (minimum) Intermediate Proficiency in French, both written and spoken.
