Fabric Lead – het technische geweten van Sparkle Er zijn van die momenten waarop technologie geen buzzword meer is, maar gewoon… essentieel. Voor Sparkle is Microsoft Fabric zo’n moment. Niet als hype, maar als logisch volgende stap in hoe moderne dataplatformen gebouwd worden. En precies daarom zoeken we iemand die Fabric niet “erbij doet”, maar het vastpakt. Iemand die het platform begrijpt, uitdraagt, in vraag stelt en beter maakt. Intern én bij klanten. Sparkle is een dataconsultancybedrijf binnen de Cronos Groep, met een duidelijke missie: organisaties helpen om écht datagedreven te werken. Dat begint bij strategie, loopt via architectuur en platformbouw, en eindigt bij inzichten, AI en governance die ook morgen nog blijven werken. We zijn Microsoft-first, maar nooit blind. Fabric en Databricks maken beide deel uit van ons kernverhaal, en voor Fabric willen we een duidelijke stem. Jouw stem. Als Fabric Lead ben jij het inhoudelijke aanspreekpunt rond alles wat met Microsoft Fabric te maken heeft. Je volgt de evoluties op de voet, duikt in nieuwe features, gaat naar Microsoft-events, praat mee in de community en vertaalt al die kennis naar iets wat werkt in de praktijk. Je kent de use cases, de valkuilen en de successen. En je zorgt ervoor dat we daar als Sparkle collectief slimmer in worden. Je rol speelt zich niet af in een ivoren toren. Integendeel. Je draait zelf mee op projecten, vaak als technical lead of architect, en bewaakt mee de kwaliteit van wat we neerzetten. Sparkle heeft een eigen Fabric Ignite Framework: een templated aanpak om snel en doordacht Fabric-platformen te bouwen. Jij kijkt er kritisch naar, scherpt aan waar nodig en zorgt dat het framework leeft in echte projecten, niet alleen op papier. Collega’s die met Fabric werken kunnen bij jou terecht voor inhoudelijke vragen, sparring en technische keuzes. Niet omdat je “de baas” bent, maar omdat je weet waar je over spreekt. In pre-salesgesprekken ben jij de expert die mee aan tafel zit, klanten geruststelt en tegelijk enthousiasmeert. Je hoeft geen verkoper te zijn, maar je kan wél helder uitleggen waarom een bepaalde architectuur logisch is, en waarom Fabric hier het juiste antwoord kan zijn. We zoeken geen Fabric-veteraan, maar iemand met een stevige basis in het Microsoft data-ecosysteem. Iemand die gewerkt heeft met SQL, Synapse, Power BI, Databricks of gelijkaardige platformen, en die zich de voorbije jaren inhoudelijk heeft verdiept in data platforming. Je kan meepraten over alternatieven, concepten plaatsen en vooral: je hebt zin om je vast te bijten in Fabric en daar een echte referentie in te worden. Je werkt hoofdzakelijk hybride. Sparkle is gevestigd in Leuven, maar aanwezigheid is geen dogma. We geloven in autonomie, in ervaren mensen die hun verantwoordelijkheid nemen, en in af en toe samenkomen omdat het inhoudelijk of menselijk iets toevoegt — niet omdat het moet.
