Tasks As a Microsoft Purview Expert, you will specialize in managing and leveraging Purview for data security and compliance. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the effective organization, protection, and management of organizational data assets for our customers. Classification & Listing: Design and implement information protection schemes, including sensitivity labels, encryption, and auto‑labelling within Purview. Data Loss Prevention: Implement DLP across the M365 stack and user endpoints, minimizing user impact while aligning with client policies. Data Retention: Create retention solutions based on legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements. Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage cross‑functional teams to understand data requirements and design strategies that leverage Purview for compliance. Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure adherence to data privacy regulations using Purview’s compliance capabilities. Solution Design & Development: Develop best practices for data protection and governance, and participate in business development and pre‑sales activities. Training & Support: Provide training and technical support to colleagues on Purview capabilities. Requirements You are eligible for NATO Clearance. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Experience: 5+ years with Microsoft Cloud technologies, 2+ years specialized in Microsoft Purview. Technical Skills: Proficiency in configuring and managing Microsoft Purview, and experience with integrations such as Defender for Cloud Apps, Defender for Endpoint, etc. Communication: Excellent skills in English and at least one of Belgium’s official languages. Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA and experience ensuring compliance within Purview environments. Benefits Training budget of €10,000 and 10 days every 2 years.
