Your Role

Virto Solar is looking for a motivated and strategic Product Owner to take ownership of Virto.CAD and play a key role in shaping its roadmap. This position is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of business, technology, and customer needs, with the ambition to evolve into a Product Manager role in the future. You will work closely with development, design, sales, and customer success teams to ensure Virto.CAD delivers real value to users in the solar industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the dev team: Work closely with the software development team in an Agile environment, ensuring efficient sprint planning, execution, and continuous product improvement.
  • Product Vision & Strategy: Collaborate with leadership to define and refine the product vision for Virto.CAD, ensuring alignment with market needs and company goals.
  • Backlog Management: Own and maintain the product backlog, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business impact and customer feedback.
  • Requirement Definition: Translate high-level business requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and specifications for the development team.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Engage with users and stakeholders to gather insights, validate assumptions, and drive customer-driven product development.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Act as the bridge between technical teams and business functions, ensuring clear communication and alignment on Virto.CAD's goals.
  • Market & Competitor Analysis: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decisions.
  • Product Growth: Support the evolution of Virto.CAD by identifying opportunities for new features, integrations, and business models.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in an IT/Science environment, with a previous experience as a software developer. Minimum one year of Product Owner/Project Manager experience is required.
  • Experience in B2B software and an interest in renewable energy, engineering, or technical industries.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product development processes.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A problem-solver mindset, with strong analytical and prioritization skills.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or other product management tools is a plus.
  • Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
