Bij Q8Oils, één van de meest innovatieve blending plants van Europa, draait alles om topkwaliteit en duurzaamheid. We ontwikkelen producten, diensten en oplossingen die onze klanten helpen om rendabeler en duurzamer te ondernemen.
Nu betreden we werkelijk nieuw terrein en zetten we een baanbrekende stap vooruit. We bouwen een gloednieuwe, ultramoderne research centrum in Antwerpen, die onze huidige vestiging in Rotterdam zal vervangen.
Wat ga je doen als R&D Laboratory Supervisor?- Teammanagement en prestaties: Je zorgt ervoor dat het laboratoriumteam optimaal functioneert door effectieve werving, prestatiebeoordelingen en planning. Je beheert budgetten en waakt erover dat het team de juiste middelen en vaardigheden heeft om de bedrijfsdoelen en serviceverwachtingen te behalen. Het optimaliseren van laboratoriumprocessen en het implementeren van nieuwe, innovatieve technieken geven jou energie en vormen dé uitdaging waar jij je helemaal in kunt vastbijten.
- Kwaliteitsborging: Je ziet erop toe dat testresultaten volgens de beschreven procedures verkregen en traceerbaar en tijdig gerapporteerd worden. Je waarborgt dat ISO-certificeringen, zoals ISO 9001, strikt worden nageleefd en onderhouden.
- SHEQ-beleid en veiligheid: Je implementeert en handhaaft het SHEQ-beleid en het SSHEMS Management System van Q8Oils. Je werkt continu aan verbeteringen om de veiligheid, gezondheid en milieueffecten van operaties en medewerkers te optimaliseren.
- Kostenbeheer en efficiëntie: Je biedt inzicht in zowel de operationele (opex) als kapitaalkosten (capex) van het laboratorium. Je optimaliseert de werking en implementeert nieuwe ontwikkelingen om een toonaangevend R&D-laboratorium te blijven.
- Samenwerking en interactie: Samen met de technische managers zorg je voor een optimale samenwerking tussen het labteam en andere technische collega's, zoals wetenschappers, productlijnmanagers en het QC-laboratorium.
- Je hebt een masterdiploma in laboratoriumtechnieken (of gelijkwaardig) en minimaal 5 jaar ervaring in een laboratoriumomgeving.
- Je hebt sterke people management skills en weet hoe je een team motiveert en aanstuurt.
- Je past je stijl en prioriteiten aan veranderende omstandigheden aan en hanteert een pragmatische aanpak bij het oplossen van problemen.
- Je denkt logisch en analytisch, hebt uitstekende administratieve vaardigheden en communiceert helder met alle betrokkenen.
- Je herkent werkpunten en doet voorstellen om processen te verbeteren, terwijl je openstaat voor ideeën van anderen.
