We need youThe project: Our client in the insurance sector is looking for a Project Manager Regulatory projects to join their team.Function description:Project Leadership & DeliveryManage end-to-end delivery of regulatory projects related to life insurance products, systems and processes, from scoping to implementation.Define project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource needs.Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, including core business, legal, compliance, actuarial, and IT.Regulatory Translation & Impact AnalysisTranslate regulatory requirements into actionable business and technical requirements.Assess impacts on products, processes, and systems, and propose mitigation strategies.Product & Process AdaptationCollaborate with product owners to adapt life insurance offerings in line with new regulations.Ensure customer journeys, documentation, and disclosures meet compliance standards and respect guidelines on product oversight and governance (POG)Risk & Compliance AlignmentLiaise with compliance and risk teams to validate project scope and deliverables.Monitor regulatory timelines and ensure timely execution of required changes.Reporting & CommunicationProvide regular updates to senior management and regulatory bodies when needed.Prepare documentation for audits, inspections, and internal governance committees.Is this you? Proven experience in project or product management within life insurance or financial servicesStrong understanding of life insurance products and Belgian/EU regulatory frameworks (e.g., FSMA, NBB, Solvency II, IDD)Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologiesCertification in project management (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Agile) is a plusProven track record of successfully delivering projects related to commercial & distribution matters in a Life Insurance context on time and within budget.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skillsAbility to translate complex regulations into practical solutions / Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.Analytical mindset with attention to detailAbility to influence and drive change across departments.Ability to thrive in a challenging and complex regulatory environment, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.Ability to work within a team, as well as independently and with minimal supervision.Fluent in French or Dutch, with professional proficiency in EnglishQuality and Client orientedAbility to work within a team, as well as independently and with minimal supervisionAbility to work with tight deadlinesFast learnerHow afarax supports you?You benefit from our extensive networkYou will have access to projects that fit your expertiseWe help and support you throughout your projectWe offer the possibility to build a valuable and lasting partnershipCheck out more projects on: https://afarax.be/jobs/type/freelance/
